The Easiest Way To Lose Weight - Do The One Thing She Did To Lose 90 Pounds

What’s the best way to lose weight?

According to this woman, it was easy. All she did was change one thing.

What’s the one thing she changed that allowed her to lose over 90 lbs naturally?

Before I tell you, let me share how this came about.

Every week I visit a local farmers market to pickup produce for the week. I regularly gather several different nutritious greens including romaine, spinach, crisp baby spinach, wide variety of cucumbers, celery, broccoli, kale and other seasonal favorites, lots of seasonal fruits (we’re now enjoying strawberries, watermelon, peaches, grapes, cantaloupe and honeydew) along with sweet medjool dates when in season and different varieties of tasty tomatoes.

While mulling over the best fruits to pick, I met this woman who asked about the quality of the peaches and plums I was eyeing.

We chatted briefly about the sweet organic yellow peaches and she started sharing her experience.

She told me that she visits Arizona regularly for extended time periods and started coming to the farmers market the last time she was in town. She was amazed by the wide variety of organically and locally grown produce… the healthy looking greens, the tomatoes, seasonal fruits, the amazing tastes and the care the farmers seemed to take to bring them all to market.

She also shared that changing where she shopped, the farmers market now as opposed to the local grocery store down the street, allowed her to shed 90 pounds since her last visit. (Her husband shed a considerable amount as well she added.) Just changing one part of her lifestyle, where she bought her food, changed her life. She was ecstatic about the change, happy with her life and excited to continue her journey to better health every day. She credited just this one change, eating foods that she found at the local farmers market, with being able to get closer to her optimal weight (she admitted having a little bit more to go), more energy, a healthy and optimistic outlook and overall better health. She was very animated and excited to share her experience and I’m glad she did.

This is one of the things I most enjoy about visiting a local farmers market. You meet nice people that enjoy life, their health and are a pleasure to chat with. At the market I visit in Phoenix, I also run into local restaurateurs who drive across town to get the freshest locally grown produce for their clients who appreciate the difference in quality and taste, without the pesticides. I also run into others that share my passion for healthy living and enjoying passing that on to their friends, families and others they meet.

You can see why these folks take time every week to visit and select the best locally grown and organic foods for themselves and their families. A healthy looking group. They come from all over town. It’s not a convenience issue for them, it’s a health issue. Most often, convenience compromises health. And without health, what do you have? A convenient visit to your doctor or hospital with an inconvenient price tag?

If we don’t take time to take care of ourselves, who else will? According to the lady I met, it’s our responsibility and a simple change that will make a wonderfully positive impact on our lives.
