Aside from the tragedy of shipping tainted beef to fast food restaurants and school cafeterias was the shocking hidden camera footage of how these animals were being treated. The footage has been haunting me for days now and brings me close to tears when i think about it. How do these men sleep at night knowing how they torture these animals by dragging them tied to tractors, prodding them with poles and kicking them repeatedly to get theem to the slaughterhouse. Are these animals to "dumb" to know whats happening to them? Why do they have utter terror in their eyes as they are being so cruelly mistreated then? Im not comfortable sitting back anymore, hoping someone else will address this. Im sick and repulsed by what I saw.
