How Do You Lose 10 Pounds?

Posted on May 8th, 2009 in diet, diets, emotions, weight loss, weight loss diet, weight loss products | No Comments »

It’s one of the more asked questions on the internet: How Can I Lose 10 Pounds?

It’s also one of the things so many of us struggle with every day.

But it doesn’t have to be difficult or a struggle.

You see, losing any amount of weight is simple if you know how. Of course everyone knows that you have to eat a healthy diet and exercise. But what’s healthy? What do you want to eat and what do you want to avoid?

What’s good exercise?

How do you handle the cravings? The emotional attachments to certain foods? The excess weight that you just can’t lose?

These are all issues that can derail your progress towards your optimal weight. Most books, guides and systems don’t address these vital issues.

About 5 years ago I was 50 pounds overweight and desperately looking for a solution. I had searched for, bought and tried most every system and plan on the market. I lost some weight, but it normally came back with a vengance. I wasn’t able to find that permanent solution and stop struggling.

All I wanted was to feel good, to feel confident and to be healthy at my optimal weight. I almost thought that this was as ‘good as it was going to get’!

Then I found the one ‘tweak’.

The one tweak no one has the courage to talk about.

No system I’ve reviewed includes this tweak, but it’s essential to permanent and healthy weight loss.

In a very short time I lost all my excess weight and now 3 1/2 years later have been within 1 pound of the same weight… every day.

Is this something that makes sense to you?

I just can’t do it justice here in a blog post, check it out:

There’s over 222 minutes of video and audio of my experience plus everything you’ll need to finally learn how to reach your optimal weight, lose your excess weight permanently.

I also believe in a totally natural approach so you won’t find anything but the truth behind permanent, natural weight loss. It works every time because it’s simple and natural.

Bill Maher Makes Sense of Health

I don’t always agree with Bill Maher but on his show recently he talked about the health crisis we have in the United States… and he made sense. Watch:

Bill is right on here. As I’ve been saying for years, the solution isn’t another pill, it’s what you put into your body, on your body and what you do with your body that will determine how healthy you’ll be.

There is no magic pill as the pharmaceutical industry or government would make you believe. And no, the government is not here to take care of you.

The only answer is to take responsibility for your own health by eliminating all processed foods, toxins, drugs and concentrating on as much fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and natural grains in their natural state, preferably organically grown as possible. Stay active and maintain a positive outlook.

We can encourage others to do this as well and ‘vote’ with your dollars by buying healthy foods and avoiding the junk. Share this with your schools, friends, co-workers, church members, family… anyone you can. If enough do this, the junk will go away because of simple economics, no one will buy it.

To your best health!

Mark

P.S. You can start by ‘voting’ with your own dollars and selecting healthy snacks and food for your family. Learn more.

How Television Affects Your Behavior [Video]

Interesting video on the affects of watching television. I found the explanation of how the ‘fight or flight’ reaction works while watching TV and how that affects our actions, especially in children and how it appears to be linked to hyperactivity.  In my experiences with my daughter, she normally acts different after watching television. Either very excited, spacey, not interested in doing much (other than watching more TV) and frustrated when I ask her to turn it off. Very different than her curious, happy, inquisitive self that is always interested in doing projects, crafts, workbooks, homework (yes homework!).

Overall, there is little benefit to watching television. The medium, as the video points out, is specifically designed to sell you something, whether it’s a point of view, idea, activity, a product, or a service. You are both consciously and unconsciously bombarded with messages that are not in your best interest. Have you noticed that when you sit down to watch TV, it’s often hard to turn off, even if you only plan to watch one program? Anywhere I go I see this happen with people of all ages. Commercials, previews, specials or other topics seem to draw you in. Oh I forgot, that’s why it’s called ‘television programming’!

Magic Pill For Weight Loss and Other Health Issues?

Posted on August 14th, 2007 in diet, emotions, exercise, video | No Comments »

It seems like every day there’s a new diet, pill, herb or medicine that will help you lose weight, doesn’t it?

Frankly, I’m tired of seeing people like you and I get swept into that… believing there’s a ‘magic pill’ that will do the trick when there is only one way to achieve permanent results.

That’s right, only one way.

Eat well and stay active.

That’s it?

Yes. But, there is one more important component. Your emotions and attitudes.

You see, many times, we eat more or make less than healthy food choices because we allow our emotions to take over. We may allow ourselves to be unhappy, angry, sad, depressed… and those states can lead to making poor choices. You may know what to do, but your emotions can override and take over.

Here’s what I’ve learned over the last 20 years of researching and looking for the answer to better health and to never worry about weight again. If you’re happy, content, relaxed and feel good about your life, it’s very easy to be healthy. In fact, that’s you’re birthright… to be happy, feel good and be well.

In our world today, stressing out is no longer occasional, it’s an every day event along with deadlines, pressure and responsibilities that keep us from taking care of ourselves.

There is a solution. You don’t have to quit your job, move to the country or send the kids away to school :) . It’s called emotional freedom.

Learn more about how you can take back your life, reach your health goals and overcome issues that are keeping you from what you want, watch this video:

Watch the new EFT video

In many cases, emotional freedom has worked where nothing else did… medicine, diets, therapy… it’s proven effective and can change your life, regardless what your health issue is. From weight loss, diabetes, MS, addiction, energy, disease, cravings…. check it out.

You CAN do it!

To your best health!
