		<description>I agree that children may be over vaccinated, however I would rather be safe than sorry.  Many of the vaccinations are for diseases that are very rare today due to the fact that we have had vaccines for them.  Today we see a rise in these rare diseases not because the vaccines are ineffective but because children aren&#039;t receiving the vaccines because of parents afraid of side effects.  I also want to point out that I disagree with many of the &quot;facts listed above.  #7 states that Amish kids don&#039;t have Autism- This is not just untrue it is completely reversed.  The Amish community actually has an incredibly high rate of Autistic children (even though the only ones reported are the severe cases since many go undiagnosed).  And &quot;fact&quot; #2 is &quot;why trust them this time&quot;?  This is not a fact but a personal belief.  Go to the peds ward and look at the kids who get the flu and you will quickly see just how bad a simple flu can become.  I&#039;d rather face possible (and as yet very rare) side effects than risk my children not only receiving but passing along a serious/deadly disease.</description>
