It’s more important than ever, especially this year, to protect your children and loved ones from the flu vaccine (both regular and H1N1) more than the flu itself. Here are ten reasons why:

  1. This flu is just another flu and usually not deadly. According to the CDC, 36,000 die each year from the flu. As of August, only 500-600 deaths have been attributed to the H1N1 virus and it has already swept through a good part of the flu season.
  2. Health officials are basically admitting prior flu vaccinations were worthless by requiring both the H1N1 and the seasonal flu vaccines this year to have 2 inoculations. They cited 1 shot didn’t produce enough antibodies. So what about all the single shot vaccinations in the past? Worthless. Why trust them this time?
  3. Officials in the past haven’t been able to match the spreading strain with the vaccination. Especially the last few years when the strains were completely off. And with the H1N1 strain being milder now and the strain that is spreading, why even get the seasonal vaccine? The H1N1 virus peaked at 55% positive in early June and has dropped to about 5% recently.
  4. These vaccines will be manufactured with adjuvants to trigger a stronger immune response. Adjuvants include mercury (thimerosal), aluminum and squalene. Would you permit your children to be injected with lead? Lead is very harmful to the brain. Then why would you sign a consent form for your kids to be injected with mercury, which is even more brain-toxic than lead?
  5. This is the first year that MOCK VACCINES have been used to get FDA approval. Why would you want to you and your children to receive experimental vaccines and be guinea pigs? Children with already impaired immune systems may be affected dramatically by ingredients that have not been thoroughly tested and approved, but released under the guise of the H1N1 emergency.
  6. Vaccinations have been overdone. Children are already subject to 29 vaccinations by the age of 2. Veterinarians have already cut back on repeated dog vaccinations because of the observed side effects.
  7. There is no medical explanation for the rise in autism rates. However, Amish children who are not vaccinated show no signs of autism. Connection?
  8. Children will most likely receive the nasal version of the vaccination (the one that will be delivered first as announced this week) which carries the live virus and can spread to family members and friends increasing the number of those infected with the virus!
  9. The Tamiflu seasonal vaccine has been tested virtually useless (ineffective with 99.6% of strains) as it has become resistant to the drug.
  10. Public health officials are mysteriously omitting the various proven ways to improve and strengthen your immune system, including getting plenty of Vitamin C and D (getting out in the sun regularly) and trace minerals rather just creating a panic like state and strongly urging the vaccine as the only answer.

I believe the government (and some media) is acting irresponsibly by not being thorough and straightforward in reporting that the H1N1 virus is actually less of a threat than originally thought, that deaths are minimal compared to the normal annual flu death rates and by not offering suggestions to help citizens strengthen their immune systems, which is really the only answer to any virus, a strong immune system.

The best way to protect yourself from any health issue is to maintain a strong immune system. Here are some tips to keep it strong:

  • Avoid processed foods. It’s what you DON’T eat that matters more than what you do. Pass on any foods that are bagged, boxed or heated… they’re all processed. The more obstacles you throw into your body, the harder your system has to work. A mainly raw food diet is the best way to increase your immune system.
  • Get plenty of rest. Sleep is when your body rebuilds and heals. If you cut it short, you’re breaking down your immune system.
  • Get out in the sun to get your Vitamin D. The sun is the best way to increase your Vitamin D levels. And since most American’s are deficient in Vitamin D, getting outside is vital to staying healthy. Studies have proven that proper levels reduce risk of cancers of all types and increase your immune system strength.
  • Stay active. Get off the couch and away from the television and move. Exercise, dance, gardening, walking, running, hiking, roller blading… anything that gets you moving is good for you and your health.

And if you’re overweight, the extra weight is a burden to your immune system and you are more susceptible to infections and health issues. Dieting doesn’t work, lose weight naturally so you keep it off permanently. Not only will this improve your health, but your life as well.
